Lock command (Security menu)

Use this command to place the current project in lock-mode. If a password has been entered in the setup screen, ModCom will prompt for a valid password before executing this command. Once in lock-mode, the operator can start or stop the run loop, but cannot change or edit the specifics which govern the operation of the run loop execution. Such specifics include the Screen Objects' properties, Conditional statements, Scripts, Data Logging properties, etc.

If a project is saved while it is in lock-mode, it will remain so each time it is reloaded by ModCom. Thereby allowing the project developer to protect his or her work from accidental or mischievous tampering by a run-time operator.
