This function will send the character string entered at the right to the Text Window entered in the box below. The color boxes can be used to set the Text Window's background and foreground colors. Although it is perfectly legal to send a character string to another Screen Object such as a Data Window, Event Counter, or Event Timer, the format of the string must be appropriate for the Screen Object it is being sent to.
