Dial Telephone

This function will dial the telephone number which is entered at the right using the computer modem. This can serve as an alarm to notify someone if certain conditions arise. No voice message will be sent over the line, but the Caller ID data received at the other end can be used to identify the call. Once dialed, ModCom will let the phone ring for 30 seconds before hanging up.

This function can be executed multiple times in succession (using a Script for instance) to have it dial multiple numbers. No delay is necessary in the Script because each additional telephone number will be added to a queue and dialed once the current call has been completed.

Note, a modem must be present on the computer in order for this function to operate.
